Our Team

Bilmar’s doctors offer personal care to your pets. We know they are members of your family. We offer our services to dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, and reptiles.

Hi there! My name is Poppy and I am 10 years young. I am most commonly known as the “hospital cat”, though I consider myself “The Keeper of Bilmar.” You can find me resting on my throne in the window by the front desk, testing cat nip toys, or sleeping in the food closet. I accept gentle pats and an occasional treat.

Veterinary Technicians

Susie spent 30 years working with horses where she discovered her love of creatures big and small.
She says the reason she has stuck around so long is due to the relationships with her coworkers; Bilmar is a family. In her spare time, she enjoys needle point and long walks with neighbors and her Jack Russel, Hobbit.

Phoebe’s interest in animals began at a very young age with visits to her grandmother’s house. She’s worked to create a life based on her love for all animals, big and small by becoming a certified veterinary technician in 2018 and has been caring for large animals at small, independent farms in the region ever since. If Phoebe isn’t farming or working at Bilmar, she’s most likely outside running, hiking, bicycling, serving her cats Bo Bo and River, or walking her dog Ruby Rose.

Shelby has worked in both hospital and shelter settings. She finds the Vets at Bilmar each offer a different style to their practice, ultimately benefiting the care provided to the patient and options and knowledge provided to the client. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring trails with her dog, Jelly, practicing yoga, skiing, and reading.

Hey Y'all! My name is Nataly and I am a Vet Tech at Bilmar Vet. I am happy to announce my return after a year long sabbatical in RI. My partner and I both agree that the Berkshires are home and I am back for a long time. I have missed the staff, clients, and patients of Bilmar. You are all one of a kind and I am so thankful that I get to continue on with my passion in the most amazing, supportive, community. My job is truly my passion and hobby! Thanks for having me back Great Barrington!

Hello, my name is Isa. I have worked with horses since I was young. I grew up with big dogs and little cats. I recently moved from the Boston area and I am eager to meet our Bilmar clients/patients. I love both the culture of Bilmar and every critter that comes through the door. In my free time, I love to walk, read, write, and play music. I was even captain of my college equestrian team!
I am happy to be a part of the Bilmar Team.

Hi my name is Sophia! I have had a life-long interest in animals, big and small. I graduated with a BA in Environmental Studies from Bard College. Through working at Bilmar, I have been inspired to continue with higher education in hopes of pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. As a Berkshire native, I enjoy spending my free-time outdoors. My favorite past-times include hiking, skiing and spending time with my pet; Pepino the cat.

Hi my name is Andrea, but you probably already know that! I’ve lived in the Berkshires my entire life and started working in veterinary medicine when I was a teenager. Throughout the years I have had pets of all species, and currently care for my dog, Miss May and my cat, Kit! Stop by and say, “Hi,” and grab a cookie or two!
